FAQ

How do I care for my artwork?

- Sarah Caudle only uses professional grade, archival materials for her original paintings and prints. However, like all fine art, the collector should care for the artwork to ensure its longevity. Only display indoors, handle with care, avoid touching painted surfaces, do not hang in direct sunlight, and avoid extreme temperatures or humidity.

How often are new originals released?

- Sarah releases new originals only a few times a year on her website. Make sure to sign up for her email list for updates and previews!

What is resin art?

The original resin painting was created in layers using acrylic paint and resin on a wood panel. She built up each piece one layer at a time, carefully controlling the flow of the resin, while allowing it to settle on its own, emulating the movement of the ocean.

- Resin prints on wood and resin prints on acrylic are made using Sarah's unique resin methods mixing high quality resin with with the same shimmer powder used in the originals. The finished resin print shines and shimmers like the sea.

- Please note that all resin prints are produced by Sarah's team in Japan using techniques from Sarah. All resin prints are made to order and will be ordered and shipped directly from Japan.

Why was I redirected to your Japanese site?

- All resin prints on acrylic and resin prints on wood are made by our team in Japan so if you clicked the link to order those, you will be redirected to sarahcaudleart.jp. You will purchase directly from our Japan team, they will create your resin print by order using Sarah's resin methods, and once ready, they will ship directly from Japan.

- Please note all purchases of resin prints on acrylic and resin prints on wood are made in Japanese Yen, which fluctuates daily.

What frames do you use?

- All original oil paintings have the option to be professionally framed by our friends at Framebridge in a solid wood ash, bleached maple, or walnut frame.

- All canvas prints have the option to come framed in a natural oak floater frame.

- Although we do not currently offer frames on our website for matted prints, we recommend framing them. They are all US standard sizes so you can purchase any pre-made frame of your choice from your favorite shop (we like Target frames!) or take to your local framer.

How do I keep my painting clean and dust free?

- To clean, gently use a soft duster. Do NOT use any solvent or wet cleaners.
