Auction Opens: Friday, June 26 at 2:00 PM EST
Auction Closes: Sunday, June 28 at 10:00 PM EST

If a bid is placed during the final 5 minutes of an auction, the closing time will automatically extend by 5 additional minutes. The auction will continue extending until no new bids are placed during the final 5-minute period.

Before You Bid

  • There are no fees to participate and no buyer's premium.
  • Every bid is binding. By placing a bid, you agree to complete your purchase if you are the winning bidder.
  • Free worldwide shipping is included with every winning bid.
  • A portion of every sale supports Waveline Collective, a Hawaii nonprofit dedicated to supporting local artists.

How Bidding Works

Each painting begins 20–40% below its retail value as an exclusive auction starting price. This limited-time opportunity is available only during the auction. Once the auction ends, any unsold paintings will return to their regular retail price on sarahcaudleart.com or be placed in one of Sarah's gallery collections.

Minimum Bid Increments

  • Retail value $0–299: +$30
  • Retail value $300–999: +$50
  • Retail value $1,000–1,999: +$100
  • Retail value $2,000–4,999: +$200
  • Retail value $5,000+: +$500

Proxy (Automatic) Bidding

Set your maximum bid, and the system will automatically place bids on your behalf, increasing only when necessary until your maximum amount is reached.

If You Win

After the auction closes, the winning bidder will automatically receive an email with a secure Shopify checkout link to complete their purchase.

  • Payment must be completed within 24 hours.
  • All transactions are processed securely through Shopify.
  • Artwork will ship after payment has been received.
  • Failure to complete payment within 24 hours may result in being restricted from participating in future auctions.

Bidding & Notifications

Current bids are displayed in real time on each artwork page.

If you're participating in an auction, you'll receive email notifications, including when you've been outbid and when your auction is ending.

  • Every original painting is signed and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
  • Free worldwide shipping is included with every winning bid.
