Sarah Caudle

Sarah Cardle is a unique artist who uses resin to convey the beautiful charm of Hawaii through abstract paintings with ocean and nature motifs. Her works, which depict Hawaii's nature, blue ocean, and waves with dynamic colors, flowing expressions, and organic compositions, are filled with peace and aloha, and soothe the hearts of those who view them. Originally from Georgia. After studying design at university, I began to realize that I wanted to live in a place surrounded by the ocean through my travels, and moved to Oahu. Sarah's works are made using epoxy resin and paint on wooden panels, carefully layered layer by layer, and finished with a skillful use of color, giving them a unique sense of three-dimensionality and transparency. All the colors of the sea and the movement of the waves that she saw are depicted there like shining jewels, and once you see them, you can't help but stop and look at them.

Since her first visit to Japan in 2018, her popularity has increased year by year, and she gained even more attention after being introduced on NHK in June 2020. However, at the end of December 2021, we announced that we would suspend production of original paintings for sale indefinitely and focus our efforts on promoting and supporting Hawaiian artists. I dream of the day when I can see her beautiful, jewel-like works again...
